Amitabh Bachchan's father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, was a renowned Hindi poet, and his mother, Teji Bachchan, was a social activist. He completed his education from Sherwood College in Nainital and Kirori Mal College in Delhi. Initially, Bachchan aspired to become an engineer and even attended the prestigious Delhi University's Department of Economics. However, his interest in acting led him to pursue a career in the film industry.
Amitabh Bachchan made his acting debut in 1969 with the film "Saat Hindustani." Despite the film's moderate success, his performance was noticed, and he received critical acclaim.
